The first 3 questions you should ask all DJs
- Is being a DJ your full time job?
- Do you currently work as a wedding DJ and how many wedding have you done personally?
- Are you the DJ that will be my DJ on the day?
Recently I purchased a new Shed/workshop. Not the most expensive workshop but still $30k is a lot of money. Anyway, the build was going along ok but slowly. There was lots of ongoing small communication challenges that by them selves were ok but they began to mount up.
Upon checking the foundations, after the concrete was poured, we discovered some major discrepancies so I emailed our concerns. After a period of time with no response I decided to leave a negative but fair and factual Review. Within one business day I had received a reply, a phone call by 2 managers/representatives, one of whom requested a site visit to inspect and deal with our concerns. He arrived later that day.
The moral of the postt…
The Review was the thing that prompted a timely response to our concerns. They advised they had changed the engineers specifications that were part of out contract and failed to advise us. They corrected the problem and have said they would address the communication ‘breakdowns’ in future.
Reviews are good even the negative ones!
